Basic formula
Use 4 parts rendered cosmetic-quality tallow to 1 part jojoba, squalane, or another facial oil. Melt gently, cool until partly opaque, then whip until smooth.
Optional additions
Vitamin E oil can support the oil blend. Honey changes texture and preservation risk, so keep honey batches small and watch for separation.
Storage
Use a clean jar, avoid dipping wet fingers into the product, and discard if odor, texture, or color changes.
